Laboratory Information Management System Industry Supplier Intelligence, Cost Structure Intelligence, Best Practices, Engagement Model & Analysis Report, 2020–2027

A laboratory information management system industry is a software-based solution used in laboratories to streamline daily operations. The primary functions that a laboratory information management system provides are workflow and data tracking support, helping develop a robust yet flexible structure, data reading, writing, editing, and exchanging interfaces, and data security and storage. Apart from these basic functionalities, an advanced laboratory information management system may also aid researchers in functionalities like job scheduling, resource planning, and sample tracking. It may also be enabled with data mining capabilities, automated cloud uploads, or blockchain technologies to enhance data security. While laboratories from all sectors may use a laboratory information management system, the major end-user industries which use a laboratory information management system are life sciences, CROs, petrochemical refineries & oil and gas industry, and the food and beverage i...

Methanol Industry Supplier Intelligence, Cost Structure Intelligence, Best Practices, Engagement Model & Analysis Report, 2020–2027

Methanol is a clear liquid chemical used in several daily used products, including plastics, paints, cosmetics, and fuels. It is also an energy resource used in the marine, automotive, and electricity sectors and an emerging renewable energy resource. Methanol is a clean-burning, biodegradable fuel. Additionally, methanol’s environmental and economic advantages make it an attractive alternative fuel for vehicles and ships, cooking food, and heating homes. Methanol is also used as feedstock for the production of chemicals, such as  formaldehyde , dimethyl ether, methyl tert-butyl ether, and  acetic acid , used for producing foams, solvents, adhesives, plywood subfloors, and windshield washer fluid. More than 80% of the methanol produced in North America and Europe is produced from natural gas, which is obtained by drilling shale and other sedimentary rocks under high pressure using  hydraulic fracturing  technology.   Read report summary or request sample c...

Hydrochloric Acid Market Procurement Intelligence, Best Practices, Engagement Model, Low & Best Cost Country, Day One Analysis Report, 2021–2027

Hydrochloric acid is an aqueous solution of hydrogen chloride gas. It is produced primarily by four basic methods: the chlorination of organic chemicals; the combination of hydrogen and chlorine; the salt-sulfuric acid production process; and, as a co-product in the manufacture of silica. In most cases, hydrochloric acid is produced from the chlorination of organic chemicals with much smaller amounts derived from the other processes. Most of the hydrochloric acid produced in the U.S., Europe, and Japan is generated as a by-product in the manufacture of a wide variety of organic chemicals via chlorination reactions. This supply depends largely on demand for the primary products. A significant amount of by-product hydrochloric acid is generated when ethylene dichloride (EDC) is cracked to make vinyl chloride monomer (VCM). This hydrochloric acid is usually recycled back to the EDC reactor for additional oxychlorination and for the most part, does not enter the commercial market. Similarl...
